Monitor trolleys for the OR: Flexible and safe solutions for image display
For placing a monitor in the operating room, we offer two powerful solutions, each designed with specific applications and functionality in mind. A mobile display is often used in the OR as a view-along monitor or as an overview monitor, and our Flexx series offers the right foundation for every need.
The Flexx Monitor Cart: Robust and functional
The Flexx Monitor Cart is specially designed as a robust and stable solution for displays from small to very large sizes (>50"). Thanks to the integrated gas spring, the monitor can be effortlessly adjusted over a height of 80 cm, which ensures an ergonomically sound workplace for every user. The heavy base guarantees a low center of gravity and maximum stability, even with the largest screens. The trolley can be equipped with various VESA mounts. Small screens can be mounted with a double pivot, which can be replaced by a VESA200 or other VESA sizes for larger screens. The trolley can optionally be equipped with a push handle and Neutrik video connections.
The Flexx one 2G: Modular and versatile
The Flexx one 2G is the ultimate versatile trolley for the operating room. In addition to its role as a monitor trolley, this modular cart can be expanded with a wide range of accessories. This includes shelves, drawers, holders, patch panels, and isolation transformers, so the trolley can be completely custom-configured for any application. As a monitor trolley, the Flexx one 2G can be equipped with various monitor mounts, including fixed mounts, VESA couplings with a double pivot, and short and extra-long monitor arms for optimal positioning and reach during a medical procedure.
Both trolleys meet the strictest standards for medical electrical equipment (NEN/EN/IEC 60601-1) and are equipped with a heavy base for excellent stability.
Frequently asked questions about our monitor trolleys
What are the Flexx monitor trolleys designed for?
The trolleys are developed for the compact and ergonomically sound setup of medical displays in operating and treatment rooms and comply with the standard for medical electrical equipment (NEN/EN/IEC 60601-1).
How do the trolleys ensure a safe working environment?
The trolleys are equipped with a heavy base with a low center of gravity, which makes them very stable. The monitor arms and wheels are designed to prevent tipping, provided the instructions for use and transport are followed. In addition, the wheels extend outward to prevent tripping. We perform a stability calculation with the monitor you intend to place, so we can determine before delivery that the desired trolley is safe to use. Counterweights can be added to increase stability.
How should I safely move a trolley?
Before moving a trolley, you must turn off the equipment, unplug it from the outlet, and secure all cords and cables. The screen must be brought to the lowest position, and for trolleys with monitor arms, these arms must be fully retracted. These actions are necessary to ensure stability during movement.
What is the maximum load of the monitor arms and how do I adjust the height of a monitor?
The Flexx Monitor Stand is suitable for displays between 5 kg and 35 kg. The part to which the monitor is attached can be adjusted over a height of 80 cm. The gas spring balances the monitor, so it automatically stays at the set height. You can adjust the height of the monitor with the two handles at the back. The Flexx one 2G can be equipped with a monitor arm for the desired height adjustment. The maximum load depends on the configuration.
What is the best way to clean the trolley?
You can clean the trolley with a lightly dampened cloth and non-aggressive cleaning agents. The use of disinfectants based on 70% alcohol with 0.1% chlorine is permitted. Never use aggressive solvents such as thinner or salt-containing solutions, and do not use an excessive amount of liquid to avoid damaging the electrical system.
