Ventilation of ICU patients

Ventilators are used for artificial ventilation of patients in the Intensive Care Unit. Because these devices also require a humidifier and possibly an oxygen cylinder, it is practical to place the ventilator on an equipment cart.

 Jansen Medicars offers various cart solutions for this application. It is obvious to opt for a modular trolley, such as the Flexx. In this way, the cart can then be assembled entirely according to the customer's wishes.

As an alternative, Jansen Medicars has developed a ventilation cart that is simple in design and suitable for large-volume production. As standard, this cart has a top shelf with an integrated handle, a 4-way power strip and a DIN rail on the front that is suitable for placing a humidifier and/or accessories. This cart can be extended with a few accessories:

• Power cord and power cords
• Bottle holder for an oxygen cylinder
• Basket for the DIN rail

The above mentioned applications are configurations based on our standard medical carts. These standard carts are modular in design, allowing to create any configuration according to customer specification. This means that the displayed cart configurations can be adjusted as desired. This includes for example removing or adding a shelf, bottle bracket or other components. In case a desired item is not part of our standard product range, it is also possible to deliver custom made parts. In this case we can design the required item, and produce this design for you.
